Description

This Garlic Mushrooms Cauliflower Skillet is a flavorful and healthy one-pan dish that’s perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Tender cauliflower florets and savory mushrooms are sautéed with garlic, thyme, and smoked paprika, then finished with fresh parsley. Optional Parmesan cheese adds a creamy, cheesy finish to this satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Cauliflower:

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into small florets

Mushrooms:

  • 8 ounces cremini or button mushrooms, sliced

Seasonings:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or ½ teaspoon dried)
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Sauté Mushrooms: Heat olive oil in a skillet, add mushrooms, and cook until browned.
  2. Add Flavors: Stir in garlic, then add cauliflower, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until coated.
  3. Cook Cauliflower: Cover and cook for 8–10 minutes until tender and golden.
  4. Finish: Uncover, cook for 2–3 minutes, stir in parsley, and top with Parmesan before serving.

Notes

  • This dish pairs well with grilled chicken or can be served over quinoa for a meatless meal.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a touch of heat.
