Description

  • 1 pound fresh green beans (trimmed)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
  • toasted sliced almonds or grated Parmesan for garnish (optional)


Instructions

  1. Boil the Green Beans: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3–4 minutes until bright green and just tender. Drain and cool in ice water.
  2. Sauté Garlic: In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Sauté Green Beans: Add green beans, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Sauté until heated through and caramelized.
  4. Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, add lemon juice if desired. Serve warm, garnished with almonds or Parmesan.

Notes
