Description

A quick and flavorful Garlic Butter Stir-Fried Vegetables recipe featuring a vibrant mix of fresh vegetables sautéed in butter and olive oil with aromatic garlic, perfect as a side dish or light main course.

Ingredients

Vegetables

  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup bell pepper strips (any color)
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas or green beans

Other Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (optional)
  • Lemon juice or chili flakes for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat fats and garlic: Heat the butter and olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. Cook hard vegetables: Add the carrots and broccoli to the skillet and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes to begin softening.
  3. Add remaining vegetables: Add the bell pepper, zucchini, and snap peas. Continue stir-frying for 4–5 minutes until vegetables are tender yet crisp.
  4. Season and finish: Season with salt and black pepper, add soy sauce if using, then remove from heat immediately.
  5. Garnish and serve: Serve the stir-fried vegetables immediately with a squeeze of lemon juice or a sprinkle of chili flakes, if desired.

Notes

  • Use any mix of vegetables you prefer or have available.
  • For added protein, include tofu, shrimp, or chicken during stir-frying.
  • This dish pairs well with rice, noodles, or as a side to grilled meats.
