Description

Garlic Butter Salmon is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring tender salmon fillets seared and baked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon slices, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter.
  4. Add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and sear for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Flip the fillets and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Add the remaining butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the skillet.
  7. Spoon the melted butter mixture over the salmon.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 7-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley and lemon slices.
  10. Serve immediately with your favorite sides.
