Description

Garlic Butter Salmon is a quick, flavorful dish featuring tender salmon fillets seared to perfection and smothered in a rich garlic butter sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or elegant meals alike.

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until cooked through.
  4. Remove the salmon and set aside. In the same pan, reduce heat to medium and add butter.
  5. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Stir in lemon juice and zest, then return the salmon to the pan and spoon the garlic butter over the fillets.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired.
