Description
Garlic Butter Noodles are the ultimate comfort food, with silky noodles tossed in buttery garlic sauce, fresh herbs, and parmesan—perfect as a main or side dish.
Ingredients
- 12 oz noodles (spaghetti, fettuccine, or egg noodles)
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook noodles until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
- Add drained noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter. Use reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan and parsley. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra cheese, parsley, and a drizzle of olive oil if desired.
Notes
- Garnish with extra Parmesan, parsley, or a drizzle of olive oil for added richness.
- Pairs well with roasted broccoli, grilled shrimp, or a crisp green salad.
- Serve in nests, ramekins, or stuffed squash for creative presentations.
- Store in the fridge up to 3 days; reheat gently with a splash of water or broth.
- Freeze for up to 1 month; texture may vary slightly upon thawing.
