Description

Garlic Butter Noodles are the ultimate comfort food, with silky noodles tossed in buttery garlic sauce, fresh herbs, and parmesan—perfect as a main or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz noodles (spaghetti, fettuccine, or egg noodles)
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook noodles until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant but not browned.
  3. Add drained noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in garlic butter. Use reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan and parsley. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with extra cheese, parsley, and a drizzle of olive oil if desired.

Notes

  • Garnish with extra Parmesan, parsley, or a drizzle of olive oil for added richness.
  • Pairs well with roasted broccoli, grilled shrimp, or a crisp green salad.
  • Serve in nests, ramekins, or stuffed squash for creative presentations.
  • Store in the fridge up to 3 days; reheat gently with a splash of water or broth.
  • Freeze for up to 1 month; texture may vary slightly upon thawing.
