Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 1 pound ground beef or Italian sausage
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup diced pepperoni or salami
- 1/2 cup chopped bell peppers
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded provolone or cheddar cheese
Other Ingredients:
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough (or homemade)
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the Meat: In a skillet, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let cool.
- Roll Out the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
- Add Filling and Roll: Spread the meat mixture over the dough, top with remaining fillings. Roll up jelly-roll style and seal seams.
