Ingredients
Fritos Chili Cheese Salad Ingredients:
- 1 bag (9.25 oz) Fritos corn chips
- 1 can (15 oz) chili beans (drained)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1/2 cup Catalina or French dressing
Instructions
- Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained chili beans, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion, and black olives if using.
- Add Fritos and Dressing: Just before serving, add the Fritos corn chips and drizzle with Catalina dressing. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Serve: Serve immediately for the best crunch.
Notes
- Add cooked ground beef or seasoned taco meat for a heartier version.
