Description

Indulge in these delicious Fried Cheesecake Roll-Ups that are crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and rolled in sweet cinnamon sugar. Perfect for a fun dessert or sweet snack!

Ingredients

Cream Cheese Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Roll-Ups:

  • 8 slices white sandwich bread, crusts removed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted (for brushing)
  • Oil for frying (such as vegetable or canola)
  • Optional toppings: whipped cream, chocolate sauce, or fresh berries

Instructions

  1. Cream Cheese Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Roll-Ups: Flatten each slice of bread with a rolling pin until thin. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture along one edge of each slice and roll tightly into a log.
  3. In a shallow bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon together. Heat 1 inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat until hot (about 350°F).
  4. Working in batches, fry the roll-ups seam-side down for 1–2 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Remove with tongs and immediately roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
  6. Serve warm with optional toppings like whipped cream or fresh berries.

Notes

  • You can bake these instead of frying—just brush with melted butter, roll in cinnamon sugar, and bake at 375°F for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  • Try adding a slice of strawberry or banana inside each roll before frying for a fruity twist.
