Fresh Peaches:
- 6 fresh peaches (peeled, pitted, and sliced)
Sugar Mixture:
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Batter:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prepare the Peaches: In a bowl, mix peaches with 1/4 cup granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Let it sit.
- Make the Batter: Combine flour, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
