Description

These Fluffernutter Bars are a delightful treat that combines the classic flavors of peanut butter and marshmallow in a convenient, portable bar form. Perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth!


Ingredients

For the Bars:

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup marshmallow creme (Fluff)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and peanut butter, mixing well.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture.
  4. Layer and Bake: Spread most of the dough in the pan, top with marshmallow creme, crumble remaining dough on top. Bake for 25–28 minutes.
  5. Cool and Serve: Cool completely before cutting into bars.
