Ingredients
For the Bars:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Topping:
- 1 cup marshmallow creme (Fluff)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- Mix Wet Ingredients: Cream together butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla, and peanut butter, mixing well.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet mixture.
- Layer and Bake: Spread most of the dough in the pan, top with marshmallow creme, crumble remaining dough on top. Bake for 25–28 minutes.
- Cool and Serve: Cool completely before cutting into bars.
