Description

This Fiery Chicken Ramen with Creamy Garlic Sauce combines tender marinated chicken with spicy chili, sweet honey, and a rich garlic-infused creamy broth. Ready in just 30 minutes, this flavorful ramen dish is perfect for a cozy weeknight meal with a satisfying balance of heat and creaminess.

Ingredients

Chicken Marinade

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Soup & Toppings

  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 green onions, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine the chicken pieces with soy sauce, chili sauce, and honey. Mix well to coat all the pieces evenly. Cover and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes to infuse flavors.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a pot or deep skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and sauté for 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly browned.
  3. Add Flavor: Stir in the minced garlic and paprika into the cooked chicken. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant, making sure the garlic doesn’t burn.
  4. Add Broth and Noodles: Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, add the instant ramen noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually 3-5 minutes, until noodles are tender.
  5. Incorporate Cream: Lower the heat to a gentle simmer. Stir in the heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken slightly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve: Divide the ramen and chicken mixture into bowls. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot immediately for a comforting and spicy meal.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more chili sauce or a dash of crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Low-fat milk can substitute heavy cream for a lighter version, but the broth will be less rich.
  • Use fresh garlic for the best flavor; garlic powder won’t provide the same aroma.
  • Adjust salt carefully as soy sauce already contains salt.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but noodles may soften.
