Description
A bold and creamy chicken ramen recipe featuring tender chicken breasts cooked in a fiery garlic and sriracha sauce, perfectly combined with rich heavy cream and fragrant sesame oil, tossed with tender ramen noodles for a comforting and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
Chicken and Protein
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
Noodles
- 2 packs ramen noodles
Sauce and Flavorings
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce (or more to taste)
- ½ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- ¼ cup green onions, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the Ramen: Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain the noodles thoroughly and set them aside to be added later.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken breasts and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
- Make the Sauce: Add the minced garlic, soy sauce, sriracha sauce, sesame oil, and grated ginger directly into the skillet with the cooked chicken. Stir well and continue to cook for 2 to 3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend and the mixture to become aromatic.
- Add the Cream: Pour in the heavy cream and bring the skillet contents to a gentle simmer. Cook for another 2 to 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly and turns creamy.
- Toss the Noodles: Add the cooked ramen noodles into the skillet and toss thoroughly to coat the noodles evenly with the creamy, spicy sauce.
- Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the chopped green onions over the top for a fresh burst of flavor. Serve the fiery chicken ramen hot and enjoy immediately.
Notes
- You can adjust the amount of sriracha to control the heat level of the dish.
- For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with coconut milk or a lighter cream alternative.
- Ensure the chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) for food safety.
- Use fresh ginger and garlic for more vibrant flavors.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
