Ingredients
For the Crust:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
 - 1 cup packed brown sugar
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)

For the Topping:
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves or chopped pecans
 - 1 cup caramel bits or soft caramels (unwrapped)
 - 2 tablespoons heavy cream
 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
 - Prepare the Crust: In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, brown sugar, and butter until crumbly. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
 - Add the Toppings: Sprinkle the pecans over the crust. Combine the caramel bits and heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until smooth and drizzle over the pecans.
 - Bake: Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until the caramel bubbles. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Spread melted chocolate over the bars.
 - Cool and Serve: Allow to cool completely, then chill for easier slicing. Cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes
- For a salted twist, sprinkle flaky sea salt over the melted chocolate.
 - Store bars in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
