Ingredients
For the strawberry filling:
- 4 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and halved)
- 1 cup granulated sugar (divided)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
For the cobbler topping:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the strawberries: In a medium bowl, mix the strawberries with ½ cup of sugar and lemon juice, then set aside.
- Make the cobbler batter: In another bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, salt, milk, and vanilla extract. Pour melted butter into a baking dish.
