Ingredients
Main Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small yellow onion (finely chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- ½ cup heavy cream or full-fat coconut milk
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Additional:
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions
- Heat olive oil: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Sauté onions until soft and translucent.
