Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese

  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add garlic and cook for another 1 minute.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  5. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Reduce heat to low.
  6. Add cream cheese and sour cream to the skillet and stir until well combined and creamy.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  8. Top with mozzarella and provolone cheese.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Remove from oven, let it cool slightly, and serve hot.

  • You can substitute ground beef with shaved steak or thinly sliced roast beef for a more authentic Philly taste.
  • Serve with a side salad or roasted veggies for a complete meal.
