This Easy Philly Cheese Steak Casserole is a delicious low-carb twist on the classic sandwich, made with ground beef, bell peppers, onions, and plenty of gooey cheese. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or meal prep!

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté onions and bell peppers until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for another 1 minute.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Reduce heat to low.
- Add cream cheese and sour cream to the skillet and stir until well combined and creamy.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Top with mozzarella and provolone cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven, let it cool slightly, and serve hot.
Notes
- You can substitute ground beef with shaved steak or thinly sliced roast beef for a more authentic Philly taste.
- Serve with a side salad or roasted veggies for a complete meal.
