Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking soda

Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix the dough: In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt until well mixed.
- Shape the cookies: Roll tablespoon-sized portions of dough into balls and place them on the baking sheet. Press a crisscross pattern on top with a fork.
- Bake: Bake for 9–11 minutes until the edges are set and the tops crack slightly.
- Cool: Allow the cookies to cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
