Ingredients
For the Dough:
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast (1 packet)
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup melted unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
For the Filling:
- ½ cup softened unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Dough: In a large bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Add sugar, melted butter, salt, and egg. Mix well, then gradually add flour until a soft dough forms. Knead until smooth. Let rest.
- Rolling: Roll dough into a rectangle. Spread butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Roll tightly, cut into rolls, place in dish.
- Rising and Baking: Let rise, then bake at 375°F for 20–22 minutes.
- Glaze: Mix powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls.

- For extra indulgence, double the filling or top with cream cheese frosting instead.
