Ingredients
Lasagna Noodles:
- 12 lasagna noodles
 
Meat Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
 - 1 pound ground beef
 - 1 small onion, diced
 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
 - 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
 
Ricotta Mixture:
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
 - 1 large egg
 - 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
 
Cheese:
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - Cook noodles: Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions, drain, and cool.
 - Prepare meat sauce: Brown ground beef and onion, add garlic, marinara sauce, seasonings, and simmer.
 - Mix ricotta: Combine ricotta, egg, and parsley in a bowl.
 - Assemble: Layer noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and meat sauce in a baking dish.
 - Bake: Cover with foil and bake, then uncover to brown the cheese.
