Description

A creamy, zesty, and fresh guacamole made with ripe avocados, lime juice, and a handful of flavorful mix-ins—perfect for dipping, topping, or spreading.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1/2 medium tomato, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 small jalapeño, minced (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl. Mash to desired consistency (smooth or chunky).
  2. Add fresh lime juice and stir to combine, coating the avocado to prevent browning.
  3. Fold in red onion, tomato, cilantro, and jalapeño. Mix until just combined.
  4. Season with salt and black pepper, taste, and adjust as needed.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish as desired. Serve immediately with chips or as a topping.

Notes

  • For extra flair, garnish with sliced radishes, chili powder, or flaky sea salt.
  • Serve in mini jars or endive leaves for creative presentation.
  • Store with plastic wrap pressed directly on the surface to prevent browning. Keeps in the fridge up to 2 days.
