Description
A creamy, zesty, and fresh guacamole made with ripe avocados, lime juice, and a handful of flavorful mix-ins—perfect for dipping, topping, or spreading.
Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
- 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
- 1/2 medium tomato, finely diced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 small jalapeño, minced (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt, or to taste
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl. Mash to desired consistency (smooth or chunky).
- Add fresh lime juice and stir to combine, coating the avocado to prevent browning.
- Fold in red onion, tomato, cilantro, and jalapeño. Mix until just combined.
- Season with salt and black pepper, taste, and adjust as needed.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish as desired. Serve immediately with chips or as a topping.
Notes
- For extra flair, garnish with sliced radishes, chili powder, or flaky sea salt.
- Serve in mini jars or endive leaves for creative presentation.
- Store with plastic wrap pressed directly on the surface to prevent browning. Keeps in the fridge up to 2 days.
