Description

This Easy Creamy Shrimp Linguine is a rich and flavorful pasta dish featuring tender shrimp tossed in a luscious garlic cream sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add butter and pour in heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (if using), cooking until cheese melts and sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Add cooked linguine and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss until everything is well coated in the creamy sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can substitute half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
  • Add a squeeze of lemon juice for brightness.
