- 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle and cut into 12 strips.
- Tie each strip into a knot and place on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the knots.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and immediately brush with remaining garlic butter.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired and serve warm.
Notes
- You can use refrigerated pizza dough for convenience.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and reheated in the oven.
