Description

These easy and delicious garlic knots are soft, fluffy, and packed with buttery garlic flavor. Perfect as a side dish or appetizer for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle and cut into 12 strips.
  3. Tie each strip into a knot and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in chopped parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the knots.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven and immediately brush with remaining garlic butter.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired and serve warm.

Notes

  • You can use refrigerated pizza dough for convenience.
  • Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container and reheated in the oven.
