Description

Easter Bunny Bait is a delightful and colorful snack mix that captures the essence of spring. Crunchy, sweet, and visually appealing, this no-bake treat is perfect for Easter celebrations or as a fun snack any time of the year.

Ingredients

Rice Chex Cereal Mix:

  • 4 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 2 cups mini pretzel twists
  • 2 cups popcorn (popped and cooled)
  • 1 1/2 cups pastel-colored M&M’s
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Coating:

  • 12 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts
  • Pastel sprinkles for garnish

Instructions

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, mini pretzels, popcorn, M&M’s, and mini marshmallows.
  2. Melt White Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips or candy melts in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  3. Coat Mixture: Pour the melted chocolate over the dry ingredients and stir gently to coat evenly.
  4. Set and Garnish: Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, top with pastel sprinkles, and let it sit at room temperature until the chocolate sets, about 20–30 minutes.
  5. Serve: Once hardened, break into clusters and serve or package in treat bags.

Notes

  • Customize with your favorite Easter candies like mini eggs or jelly beans.
  • For a nut-free version, use nut-free chocolate and candies.
