Ingredients

Cookies:

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Filling:

  • 1 cup dulce de leche
  • Optional powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugar: In a large bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough: Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness. Use a small round or fluted cookie cutter to cut out cookies and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
