Description

Indulge in the ultimate burger experience with this Double-Decker Jalapeño Popper Smash Burger. Juicy beef patties filled with a creamy jalapeño cheddar mixture, topped with crispy bacon, and finished with a drizzle of ranch dressing.

Ingredients

For the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Filling:

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup pickled jalapeño slices
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder

For the Burgers:

  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef (80/20), divided into 8 equal balls
  • 4 brioche burger buns, toasted
  • 8 slices bacon, cooked until crispy
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing
  • 2 tbsp sliced green onions (for garnish)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Filling: In a bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined. Set aside.
  2. Cook the Patties: Preheat a griddle over medium-high heat. Smash beef balls flat, season, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side. Top half with cheese mixture and stack with another patty. Melt cheese under cover.
  3. Assemble the Burgers: Toast buns, stack patties, add bacon, drizzle with ranch, sprinkle green onions, and top with bun. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For added spice, use fresh jalapeños instead of pickled.
  • Add pepper jack cheese for extra kick.
  • Best served immediately, but patties can be made ahead and reheated.
