Ingredients
Tuna Salad:
- 2 cans (5 ounces each) tuna packed in water, drained
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 celery stalk, finely diced
- 1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
Wraps:
- 8 large lettuce leaves (romaine, iceberg, or butter lettuce)
- Optional garnish: extra dill, lemon wedges
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, prepare the tuna salad: Combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, black pepper, and salt. Stir in the celery and red onion. Add the drained tuna and gently mix until well coated, breaking up large chunks.
- Prepare the wraps: Wash and pat dry the lettuce leaves. Spoon the tuna mixture evenly into the center of each lettuce leaf. Fold or roll the leaves into wraps and arrange on a serving platter.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with extra dill or lemon wedges if desired. Serve immediately.
