Ingredients

Filling:

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp bourbon (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the filling: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Stir in flour, bourbon, vanilla, and salt until combined. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
- Fill the crust: Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust and spread evenly.
