Description

Indulge in the decadent layers of creamy goodness with this Turtle Lush dessert. A buttery pecan crust, velvety cream cheese filling, luscious pudding layers, and a drizzle of caramel and chocolate sauces topped with crunchy pecans make this a dessert to remember.

Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

For the Filling:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), divided

For the Pudding Layer:

  • 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 (3.4 oz) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk

Additional Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sauce
  • Extra chopped pecans for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix flour, melted butter, and chopped pecans until crumbly. Press into a 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for 15–18 minutes. Let cool.
  2. Make the Creamy Filling: Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping and spread over the crust.
  3. Create the Pudding Layer: Whisk together chocolate and vanilla pudding mixes with cold milk until thickened. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Top and Chill: Spread remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer. Drizzle caramel and chocolate sauces, sprinkle with chopped pecans. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer version, use dulce de leche and hot fudge instead of standard caramel and chocolate sauce.
  • This dessert is best made ahead and chilled overnight for the layers to set perfectly.
