Description

Indulge in the rich and fudgy goodness of these Chocolate Brownie Cookies. A perfect blend of chocolatey goodness in cookie form!


Ingredients

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted and slightly cooled
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chunks for folding in


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare the baking sheet: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix wet ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, and melted chocolate until smooth. Add eggs and vanilla extract, whisk until glossy.
  3. Combine dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir into wet mixture.
  4. Add chocolate chunks: Fold in additional chocolate chips or chunks. Chill dough for 20–30 minutes.
  5. Bake: Scoop dough onto baking sheet, bake for 10–12 minutes. Cool on sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra fudgy cookies, slightly underbake and let them finish setting as they cool.
  • Add a pinch of espresso powder to intensify the chocolate flavor.
