- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup custard powder (such as Bird’s)

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Add Dry Ingredients: Sift in the flour, custard powder, and salt, and mix until a soft dough forms.
- Shape and Bake: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough, roll into balls, place on the baking sheet, and press gently with a fork. Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are golden.
- Cool and Enjoy: Allow the biscuits to cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
