Description

This Crockpot Ravioli Lasagna is an easy, comforting one-pot meal perfect for busy days. Layers of frozen cheese ravioli, savory browned ground beef, rich pasta sauce, and a blend of Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses slow-cooked to bubbly perfection make for a hearty lasagna without the hassle of traditional baking.

Ingredients

Meats

  • 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained (or 2 lbs for hearty servings)

Cheeses

  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Other

  • 1 (25 oz) package frozen cheese ravioli
  • 1 jar (24 oz) pasta sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crockpot: Spread a thin layer of pasta sauce at the bottom of the crockpot to prevent the ravioli and other ingredients from sticking during cooking.
  2. First layering: Place a layer of frozen ravioli over the sauce, then evenly distribute the browned and drained ground beef on top. Sprinkle a portion of the shredded Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses over the beef.
  3. Repeat layers: Continue layering with pasta sauce, ravioli, ground beef, Parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses, making sure each layer is covered with sauce and cheeses until all ingredients are used.
  4. Top layer: Finish with a generous layer of pasta sauce and the remaining cheeses on top to ensure a cheesy, saucy crust when cooked.
  5. Cook: Cover the crockpot and cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4 hours. Cook until the ravioli is tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve: Serve the lasagna hot directly from the crockpot and enjoy a comforting, easy meal.

Notes

  • Using frozen ravioli directly without thawing saves preparation time.
  • Drain the ground beef well to avoid excess grease in the dish.
  • You can customize with your favorite pasta sauce, whether marinara, spicy arrabbiata, or classic tomato basil.
  • For a vegetarian version, substitute the beef with sautéed mushrooms or plant-based meat alternatives.
  • The cooking time may vary depending on your crockpot model; adjust accordingly if necessary.
