Description

Indulge in a hearty and flavorful dish with this Crockpot Loaded Steak and Potato Bake. Tender sirloin steak, baby potatoes, crispy bacon, and gooey cheddar cheese come together in a delicious slow-cooked meal that’s perfect for busy days.


Ingredients

For the Steak and Potatoes:

  • 1.5 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 pounds baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For Topping:

  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Spray the Crockpot: Spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray.
  2. Prepare Potatoes: Toss potatoes with olive oil and seasonings in a bowl.
  3. Layer Ingredients: Layer seasoned potatoes and steak pieces in the crockpot.
  4. Cook: Cook on low for 6–7 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until tender.
  5. Add Toppings: In the last 15 minutes, add cheese and bacon to melt.
  6. Serve: Top with sour cream and green onions before serving hot.

Notes

  • You can swap sirloin for ribeye or strip steak.
  • For extra heat, add red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños.
  • Yukon gold or red potatoes can be used.
