This Crockpot Chicken and Stuffing recipe is a comforting and easy-to-make dish perfect for busy weeknights. Tender chicken breasts are cooked with a creamy sauce and savory stuffing in a slow cooker for a delicious family meal.

Ingredients

Chicken:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Soup Mixture:

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Stuffing:

  • 1 (6 oz) box stuffing mix (such as Stove Top)

Optional:

  • 2 cups frozen green beans or mixed vegetables

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Lightly grease the crockpot. Mix the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Layer the Ingredients: Place chicken breasts in the crockpot. Spread soup mixture over the chicken. Sprinkle stuffing mix on top. Add vegetables if desired.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Serve: Fluff the stuffing, shred the chicken, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use low-sodium soup and broth if preferred.
  • For extra flavor, add shredded cheddar cheese during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
