Description

Crockpot Cheesy Chicken Delight is the ultimate creamy, cheesy, and easy comfort food—ideal for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley or green onions

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts evenly in the base of your crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken, ensuring it’s coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours (or high for 3–4 hours), until chicken is tender.
  5. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and let it melt.
  6. Stir gently before serving and garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.

Notes

  • Sub chicken thighs if preferred—they stay moist.
  • Add frozen peas or broccoli during the last 30 minutes for veggie boost.
  • To keep sauce smooth, add shredded cheese at the end, not at the start.
  • For dairy-free version, use dairy-free cream cheese, vegan cheese, and plant‑based cream soup.
