Description

A hearty and comforting Crockpot Beef Tips & Noodles recipe featuring tender stew meat slow-cooked with savory onion soup and brown gravy mix, served over egg noodles and garnished with fresh parsley. Perfect for an easy, flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Beef Tips

  • 1 lb stew meat
  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water

Noodles & Garnish

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Tips: In a slow cooker, combine the stew meat, Lipton onion soup mix, brown gravy mix, beef broth, and water. Stir everything well to evenly distribute the seasonings and ingredients.
  2. Cook: Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the beef is tender and the gravy has thickened to a rich consistency.
  3. Cook the Noodles: About 20 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
  4. Combine and Serve: Season the beef tips with salt and pepper to your taste. Serve the tender beef and gravy over the cooked egg noodles. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired for a fresh finish.

Notes

  • For thicker gravy, you can stir in a cornstarch slurry (cornstarch and water) near the end of cooking and cook on high for an additional 15-20 minutes.
  • If you prefer, you can cook the noodles directly in the crockpot during the last 20 minutes, but keep an eye to avoid overcooking.
  • Leftovers store well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheat gently on the stovetop.
  • Use fresh parsley as a garnish to add a pop of color and light flavor contrast.
