Description

These Crispy Garlic Parmesan Crusted Potatoes are a flavorful and easy side dish that pairs well with any meal. The potatoes are perfectly seasoned, baked until crispy, and garnished with fresh parsley for a delicious finish.

Ingredients

Potatoes:

  • 1 ½ pounds baby potatoes, halved

Seasoning Mixture:

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Garnish:

  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Prepare the seasoning: In a small bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian herbs, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the baking sheet: Drizzle olive oil over the bottom of the baking sheet, then sprinkle the Parmesan mixture evenly across the oiled surface.
  4. Coat the potatoes: Place the halved potatoes cut-side down directly onto the Parmesan mixture, pressing gently to help the crust adhere.
  5. Bake: Roast for 25–30 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the bottoms are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Serve: Let them cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before carefully lifting with a spatula. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, avoid moving the potatoes while baking.
  • You can use Yukon Gold or red potatoes for best results.
  • Serve with sour cream or a garlic aioli for dipping.
