For the Crispy Chicken

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

For the Wraps

  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 8 slices cooked bacon
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Prep the Chicken: In three separate bowls, add the flour to one, whisk the eggs in the second, and combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in the third. Dredge each chicken strip in flour, dip in egg, then coat evenly in the panko mixture.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips in batches and fry for 4–5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
  3. Assemble the Wraps: Lay a tortilla flat and spread 2 tablespoons of ranch dressing down the center. Add a handful of shredded lettuce, a few tomato slices, 2 slices of bacon, several crispy chicken strips, and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Wrap and Serve: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll tightly from the bottom up. Slice in half, if desired, and serve immediately while the chicken is still warm and crispy.
