Ingredients
Boursin Cheese:
- 1 (5.2-ounce) round of Boursin cheese (any flavor)
Breading:
- 1 egg, beaten
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- Olive oil spray or drizzle (for baking)
- Optional garnish: chopped parsley, honey drizzle, red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Breading Stations: Place flour, beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs in three separate shallow bowls. Mix pepper and garlic powder into the breadcrumbs.
- Bread the Cheese: Roll Boursin cheese in flour, dip in egg, coat in breadcrumbs. Repeat for extra crispiness.
- Bake: Place breaded cheese on baking sheet, spray with olive oil, bake for 18–20 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Serve: Let cool for 5 minutes, garnish with parsley, honey, or red pepper flakes. Serve warm with crackers, crostini, or veggies.
