Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 pound breakfast sausage (or bacon)
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Dish: Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sauté Vegetables and Sausage: In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and bell pepper until softened. Add sausage, cook until browned, and drain excess grease.
- Assemble Casserole: Unroll crescent dough in the baking dish, spread sausage mixture over it. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, pour over the filling. Top with cheddar cheese.
- Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until set and golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
