This Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole is a hearty and satisfying dish perfect for breakfast or brunch. With layers of flaky crescent roll dough, savory sausage, veggies, eggs, and cheese, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s easy to make and full of flavor.


Ingredients

Crescent Roll Breakfast Casserole Ingredients:

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage (or bacon)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven and Prepare Dish: Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Sauté Vegetables and Sausage: In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onion and bell pepper until softened. Add sausage, cook until browned, and drain excess grease.
  3. Assemble Casserole: Unroll crescent dough in the baking dish, spread sausage mixture over it. Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, pour over the filling. Top with cheddar cheese.
  4. Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes until set and golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
