Description
Creamy Tuscan Ravioli combines tender cheese ravioli with a luscious garlic cream sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh spinach for a decadent yet simple Italian-inspired dish.
Ingredients
- 1 package (about 18 oz) cheese ravioli (fresh or refrigerated)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, julienned
- 3 cups baby spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add ravioli and cook according to package instructions (3–4 minutes for fresh). Drain and toss with a splash of olive oil.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1–2 minutes. Stir in spinach and cook until wilted.
- Pour in heavy cream and sprinkle in Italian seasoning. Simmer gently until cream thickens slightly, then stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Fold in the drained ravioli. Season with salt and black pepper. Warm everything through and serve immediately with optional garnishes.
Notes
- Garnish with fresh basil, parsley, extra Parmesan, or toasted pine nuts for added flavor and presentation.
- Pairs well with a crisp green salad and crusty bread.
- Can be made with frozen or gluten-free ravioli; adjust cooking time accordingly.
