Indulge in the creamy goodness of this homemade Creamy Garlic White Pizza Sauce. With a rich Parmesan cheese base and a hint of garlic, this sauce adds a luxurious touch to your pizzas or pasta dishes.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Melt Butter: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add Flour: Whisk in flour and cook for another 1–2 minutes to form a roux.
  4. Whisk in Milk and Cream: Slowly whisk in milk and heavy cream until smooth.
  5. Cook: Cook the sauce for 3–4 minutes until it thickens.
  6. Season and Cheese: Add salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan. Stir until cheese melts and sauce is creamy.
  7. Cool and Use: Remove from heat and let cool slightly before using on pizza dough.

Notes

Notes:

  • For a thinner sauce, add more milk.
  • This sauce can be made ahead and refrigerated for up to 3 days.
  • Works well as a pasta sauce or dip too.
