Description

Indulge in a decadent and flavorful meal with this Creamy Cajun Steak Alfredo recipe. Tender steak strips are coated in a rich Cajun-infused cream sauce, served over perfectly cooked fettuccine pasta. A dish that’s sure to impress your family and friends!

Ingredients

For the Steak:

  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, divided
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Alfredo Sauce:

  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sear the Steak: Season steak strips with 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning. Cook in olive oil over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes. Set aside.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, then pour in heavy cream and milk. Simmer and whisk in Parmesan, Cajun seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Simmer until thickened.
  4. Combine and Serve: Toss cooked pasta in the sauce, add steak, and gently mix. Garnish with parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, use a mix of Parmesan and Asiago cheese.
  • You can substitute chicken or shrimp for steak.
  • If the sauce thickens too much, add a splash of pasta water to adjust consistency.
