Description

This Creamy Cajun Spiced Chicken Salad is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish perfect for a quick lunch or light dinner. The combination of Cajun seasoning, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, and crunchy vegetables creates a creamy and satisfying salad with a spicy kick.


Ingredients

Chicken Salad:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 celery stalk, finely chopped
  • 1/4 red onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika for extra flavor


Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, Cajun seasoning, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Stir until well mixed.
  2. Add the cooked chicken, celery, red onion, and green onions. Stir until everything is evenly coated with the dressing.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or more Cajun spice as desired. For extra smokiness, sprinkle in smoked paprika.
  4. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld.
