Ingredients
Main Soup:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground Italian sausage or chicken
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 jar (15 ounces) Alfredo sauce
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 8 lasagna noodles (broken into pieces)
- 1 cup heavy cream
Additional Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the Meat: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add sausage or chicken, cook until browned. Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- Season and Simmer: Add Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, chicken broth, Alfredo sauce, diced tomatoes. Bring to a boil, add lasagna noodles. Simmer until noodles are tender.
