- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla and mashed bananas.
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in nuts if desired.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 60–70 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve: Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
