Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed (about 1 cup)

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream the butter, cream cheese, and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla and mashed bananas.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Fold in nuts if desired.
