Description

A creamy, cheesy, bacon-filled chicken breast crusted with crunchy Doritos—pure comfort food that’s easy enough for weeknights but special enough to impress.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz chive and onion cream cheese
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of bacon soup
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup real bacon bits
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 2 cups crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the chive and onion cream cheese with the cream of bacon soup until smooth.
  3. Stir in shredded mozzarella cheese and real bacon bits. Set filling aside.
  4. Carefully slice each chicken breast horizontally to form a pocket, leaving the opposite side intact.
  5. Spoon filling into each chicken breast and press edges gently to seal.
  6. Place stuffed chicken in the greased baking dish.
  7. Brush each chicken breast with beaten egg.
  8. Sprinkle crushed Doritos over the top and press gently so they stick.
  9. Bake for 33–35 minutes, or until the chicken reaches 165°F internally and the coating is golden and crispy.
  10. Let rest a few minutes before serving.

  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure safe internal temperature (165°F).
