Ingredients
Pasta:
- 12 ounces rotini or elbow pasta, cooked and cooled
Salad:
- 1 pound imitation crab meat, chopped
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
Dressing:
- 3/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill or parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta: Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- Prepare the Dressing: In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Combine Ingredients: Add cooled pasta, chopped crab, celery, red bell pepper, and red onion to the bowl. Toss everything together until evenly coated.
- Chill and Serve: Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavors meld. Garnish with fresh dill or parsley if desired.
