Ingredients
Ground Beef Mixture:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 (15 oz) can whole kernel corn, drained
- Salt and pepper to taste
Tater Tot Layer:
- 1 (30 oz) bag frozen tater tots
Additional:
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook Beef Mixture: Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Add garlic, then mix in soup, sour cream, half of the cheese, and corn. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble Casserole: Spread beef mixture in the baking dish. Arrange tater tots in a single layer on top.
- Bake: Bake for 30–35 minutes, sprinkle remaining cheese over tater tots, and bake an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let cool before serving.
