Description
A light, creamy, and fluffy frosting made with Cool Whip and instant pudding mix—perfect for cakes, cupcakes, and more.
Ingredients
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tub (8 oz) Cool Whip, thawed
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk for about 2 minutes until slightly thickened and smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold in the thawed Cool Whip with a spatula until fully combined and smooth. Do not overmix.
- Cover the bowl and chill the frosting in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- Once chilled, frost cakes, cupcakes, or desserts as desired.
Notes
- Be sure to use cold milk to help the pudding set properly.
- Chilling the frosting makes it easier to spread or pipe.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Do not freeze, as it may alter the texture upon thawing.
